Mutual customers of both companies will now be able to use their PSI reference number to pre-fill parts of the building permit application. BAMS: the new way to get a building permit number coming 1 July

The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) is getting ready to change the way the building permit levy is paid and more importantly, how you get a building permit number. Starting 1st July, the Relevant Building Surveyor (RBS) will need to request the building permit number from the VBA. But before that, the RBS must pay or nominate a party to pay the Building Permit Levy.  Until the levy is paid, the building permit number won’t be given. National Construction Code 2019 preview released: here’s what you need to know

The National Construction 2019 Preview was released on 1st February with changes coming into place from 1st May 2019. Download a free copy from the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB). At Group Four, we predominately use the NCC Volume Two which impacts Class 1 & 10 construction.
